How To Start A Successful Paid To Click Website

Making money from a Paid To Click (PTC) website is fairly easy. If you read my article on paid to promote (PTP) websites, this article will be very similar. A PTC website is a derivative of a whole category of websites called “get paid to” websites, or GPT for short. These types of websites are generally much easier to market than other types of websites such as blogs, forums, or ecommerce websites; this is because the most common word used for marketing has to do with money, cash, getting paid, ect, and everyone loves money, that’s why using some of those keywords I just mentioned will be very key in marketing your website.

Step 1: Finding a Domain.

Finding a domain will be easy, just go to your favorite registrar, like NameCheap.com, and pick out a domain name. Try to find an open .com that has a keyword or two that I mentioned in the opening paragraph of this article.

Step 2: Hosting.

Finding hosting can be tricky, there are thousands to choose from, and most of them will give you fair service for a fair price. I suggest using hostmonster.com, yes they make you pay for a year in advance, but trust me, you are paying so you won’t have your service interrupted by your credit card being denied, or some other billing issue.

Step 3: Find a Script, and Install it.

There are quite a few scripts out there in the world, especially for PTC websites! They are very popular, and yet still easy to market and profit off of! The script I suggest using is called Crusader Script, this is a very excellent script! It will cost a bit more ($79.95 I believe), but it is worth it! You can morph this script into many types of websites, such as, an incentive based website, a paid to promote website, or what its best known for: a paid to click website! Step 4: Set Prices.

For PTC websites I suggest modeling your prices after JohnsonWebServices.com, in his websites Jeffrey Johnson does not pay his affiliates in money, instead he makes them buy ads with it, therefore keeping his prices very low and competitive and his wallet stays very fat, if you know what I mean! However, this is completely optional, I used to run a PTC website that paid affiliates $0.05 per click, keeping my prices about half that of the competitions, and still keeping my affiliates happy because they had a nice source of income! I would also like to say that when I ran this PTC website, my only source of income from the websites was many ads placed on the website. I paid affiliates 100% of the income from click ads, and I kept income from banner ads.

Step 5: Promote Your Website!

As with the PTP websites, I suggest using JohnsonWebServices.us to advertise, for only $30, you can get 10 ad banners on 120 of Jeffrey Johnson’s PTC websites. This will bring you about 75,000 ad views per banner and about 150 clicks, and about 5% will convert to affiliates. Don’t have an ad banner to promote? Step 6: Make Money $$$!

In Johnson Web Services is great for getting affiliates to click on your websites, and that’s all fine and dandy, but that’s not what is going to pay you, and your affiliates! You need to get advertisers to buy ads! Here is what you can do… Two of the biggest PTC websites in the world, donkeymails.com and no-minimum.com, go to these and sign up for 100,000 banner impressions per month for, I think its like $10 a month, so not bad at all for 100,000 banner impressions. As well as post on webmaster forums, here is a list of 85, if you post in all of them, you can average about 1 sale per forum per month. And that’s FREE advertising! Make sure you post in the proper thread!!! I don’t want you to get banned for trying to promote your PTC service in the wrong sub-forum. Also, I suggest putting Google Adsense ads up on your PTC site as well, affiliates will occasionally click on them by accident.

And you are done! Follow these six steps and I can guarantee you a good few hundred dollar income every month for as long as you post on the webmaster forums, and advertise on Johnson Web Services’ PTC websites. Now you see what I was talking about above, how easy it is to start one of these websites. It’s truly remarkable! I hope you email me with your success story!
