How To Start A Successful Get-Paid-To Incentivized Freebie Website (IFW)

Starting a Get-Paid-To Incentivized Freebie Website (IFW for short), is not an easy feat, in fact this is type of website can be grueling and expensive, but I am here to make your money count. A few things you will need to know before jumping right in, first an IFW is a website that offers free items (like iPods, cash, or even TV’s) in exchange for referrals (you telling your friends about the website) and for completing offers (advertisers pay them to make you sign up for their services in exchange for the free gift). That’s pretty much the basis of an IFW! It’s a win, win, win situation. These are also very attractive to lots of people; you can advertise a free $100 gift card and people will jump on that offer like tickets at a Neil Diamond concert! Anyway, enough of the slapstick comedy and down to business:

Step 1: Domain, Hosting, and a Script.

Find a domain from your favorite registrar (for example Register.com), choose a domain that has the word “free” or some variation of that word will be the most effective. Next, hosting, I recommend, as always, HostMonster.com, and finally a script. I will need to go in depth for this process, I recommend a very expensive script $199.95 will get you a script from a dedicated support team and a script that is very secure, and already has fraud detection built in, click here to check out the script: project-IRS. However, at the base price, the script isn’t that great. I recommend getting a few add-ons: Auto-Crediter, Offer Weight, Dynamic Signature, Email Notification, and the Refer Friends add-on. All of these add-ons plus the script will cost just under $500. I know this is not a pretty price, in fact this was way above my budget when I was looking to start my own IFW. However, it is worth it, I loved owning IFW’s because if you do it right (by that I mean buying those apps), you will have a very automated IFW, you won’t have to do hours of work on a daily basis, most of the work will be answering customer service, and then cashing your fat checks at the bank!

Step 2: Making Money

Before you promote your website, you will need to apply to join an affiliate network, I recommend using Commission Junction, Azoogle, or ClixGalore. After they accept you, find some high paying advertisers to put on your website. After you get this done, I suggest also putting advertisements on your website, to help increase your cash flow!

Step 3: Promote Your IFW

Promoting an IFW is a matter of, where can I get the cheapest traffic? I recommend using AdBrite, this will get you very cheap ads, and if you do it right, you will make a very nice return on your investment! Make sure you target websites in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. Advertisers will pay the biggest cash for this traffic. And while you are doing this, don’t forget the free stuff too! Try some banner exchanges, get listed on some freebie websites, and make sure to post about your website on lots of forums and directories!
