How To Get Advertisers To A PTC Website

I received another email from a reader of the iit blog about how to start a PTC/PTP (Paid to click / Paid to Promote) website. So I have decided to write another short article on the subject:

Here is what the message said:

Dear Internet Income Teacher,
I have started a PTC site a few days back. I haven't started any
advertising yet for affiliates or advertisers. Can you advice me on the best course of
action for getting advertisers to my site.

 www.buxville.com

Hello iiT reader!
Glad to help. I have run a few PTC websites, and the best way I have
found to get advertisers to my website is to:
1. Place a listing on eBay. I sold about $100 worth of clicks every month
on eBay, and some of those advertisers came back to buy even more from me!
-This is a great way to start a loyal customer base!
2. Advertise on your competitors websites! The great thing about starting
a PTC website is that your competitors are all hungry for advertisers so
if you become one of their advertisers, you might be able to sneek away
with a few of their advertisers too!
3. Start a PPC campaign on Google, Bing, or Yahoo search engines. I know
that the keywords "buy traffic" or "buy clicks" are very expensive
keywords as they are saught after by advertisers heavily. But if you can
find a few good (less popular) keywords you might be able to buy clicks at
around $1 per click!
4. Other than those options you can always sell traffic on forums like
www.forums.digitalpoint.com which are always good venues to sell at.
Simply start a thread in the correct topic area/forum and advertise a
really great discount and targeted traffic! You should get a few sales out
of that too!

I hope this information helps!
Thank you!

How To Start A Successful Travel Agency Website

Starting a travel agency website is quite a fantastic way to go if I must say so myself, all it takes is connecting hotels and resorts to customers… and also plane tickets, restaurants, taxis or rental cars, parking, and a whole other bunch of services that you really don’t have to worry about though! So when it comes down to the basics, all you need to do is sign up for an affiliate program, get a website and a template, and promote your website. So let’s get started:

Step 1: Register a Domain, Get Website Hosting, and a Template

First, you will want to register a domain from your favorite domain registrar (Try MadDogDomains.com) and find a domain name with something like “travel” or “relaxing” or “resort” or anything else like that! Next, you will need good and reliable website hosting, I suggest using HostMonster.com, and they have great service, fast servers, and are extremely reliable! Finally, get a good and free template of your choice! Just go to Google and type in “Free Travel Agency Website Template” and you will have plenty of choices to download free templates of your choice! Next we will need to install the template and join an affiliate program in step two.

Step 2: Install the template and join an affiliate program of your choice

In this step you will need to install your template and join an affiliate program. When installing your template you will need to leave a bit of room for customization to integrate the affiliate program to your website. However, you will want to add unique content and a few articles to keep your visitors interested in your website. Then you will want to join an affiliate program, now you can join just about any affiliate network and they will probably have some advertisers offering traveling programs for you to join, or you can search on Google for a good affiliate program to join! Try this out: “Travel Agency Affiliate Program” and you will find plenty of programs to join, pick the one that offers the best programs!

Step 3: Promote Your Website

Promoting your new travel affiliate website you will want to focus on finding you’re demographic, which will be mostly male above the age of 25. You will want to narrow it down a bit from there as well. Then you will want to use an advertising network like Google Adsense, Yahoo, Adbrite, or Bidvertiser to find websites to advertise on with that similar demographic. I suggest using Adbrite (it is statistically the cheapest) and find travel related websites from there, I suggest trying to find blogs and informative websites on traveling, this will help you find the best targeted traffic that will convert to sales the easiest therefore earning you more money!

And that is that! I should also mention that the last step is a bit of an experiment, you will have to learn what works and what doesn’t by trial and error, because everyone is different, and if I told you what exactly does work it would make it too costly because everyone would be bidding for the exact same keywords. How To Start A Successful Real Estate Website

Starting a real estate website can be a daunting task when you don’t know what you are doing. Because let’s face it, you don’t really know anything about your target market, you don’t know where to advertise, and you don’t know how to set up your website successfully. However, I am here to help you and show you exactly what to do and how to do it. So follow along as I start out with step one.

Step 1: Register a Domain, Get Website Hosting, and a Script

Register a domain from your favorite domain registrar (Your Domain Registration Company Here) find a domain with one of these keywords preferably: “real estate,” “housing,” “houses,” and if you know which one you are specializing in: “commercial” or “residential.” Next, find good website hosting, I recommend using HostMonster.com; they are the best in the industry! You cannot go wrong with HostMonster.com. Finally, you will need a good script! I recommend using Easy Realtor Pro; this script is fantastic it uses Google Maps, SEO URL’s, PayPal, 2CheckOut, and ZIP Radius. It is quite a fantastic script!

Step 2: Getting the Right Mix

Promoting a real estate website is all about closing the gap between buyers and sellers. Buyers want a deal, where as sellers want to make the most money. So getting the best deals to your buyers is going to be the tough problem to solve, this is because in order to be the best, you have to have the best deals, this will happen when you create competition on the website, getting more sellers than buyers will create cheaper housing for sale and more and more buyers will come to your website and buy those cheap houses!

Step 3: Promote and Advertise Your New Real Estate Website

This step is crucial, you will need to find the best places to advertise, luckily there are advertising networks that have the tools you need to get yourself noticed to your demographic. I suggest using Google Adwords, Adwords will allow you to advertise directly to your demographic and get you the best of success. However, I, unfortunately, cannot tell you exactly what works and what doesn’t. SEM (Search Engine Marketing, meaning Google Adwords) specialists will help you set up your campaign to what they think is right (if you hire one), but any good specialist will tell you that they can help you achieve moderate success, but you have to use trial and error to find the best combination that provides you with the highest click through rate and the highest conversion rate. Luckily for you I have found a wonderful eBook you will need to read: “Instant Adwords Profit” This eBook is one of the best resources that will give you a detailed overview of exactly what you need to do in order to be successful on Adwords, it really isn’t just about slapping a few keywords together. You really need to think in depth about what you want your ad to say and who it speaks to, and that eBook will show you exactly what you need to do.

Well everyone, there you have it, a fantastic website that only took a bit of work and one advertising network.  I’d say that’s pretty easy when you think about it. How To Start A Successful Consulting Website

Starting a successful consulting website is all about your appearance, you may be the best consultant in the world for whatever industry, but if your website looks horrible, nobody will want to use your service. So in this article I will talk about how to make your website successful as well as how to make your website look good and professional. So, let’s get down to business:

Step 1: Register a Domain, Get Website Hosting, and a Script!

First off, register your domain name at your favorite domain registrar (Your Domain Registration Company Here) try to find a domain name with your niche and the keyword “consulting” or “consultant” in the domain name. When choosing a niche, it’s important to make your keyword fairly specific, for example, if you’re a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) consultant, your keyword should be directly related to your topic like SEO, SEM, or eve Search Engine Specialist. Next, gets website hosting, I recommend using HostMonster.com, and they have great service, fast servers, and almost 100% uptime! Finally, last but not least, get a reliable script to run your website off of! I suggest using any sort of content management script like Mambo, Joomla, or even a blog script like WordPress can be morphed into a professional looking consulting website.

Step 2: Make Your Website Look Professional

In this paragraph I will be going over some tips and tricks on how to make your new consulting website look fantastic! First off, one of the most powerful marketing tools that will push plain old visitors to clients is having positive customer reviews on your website. So in knowing that, ask some of your customers to give you reviews on how well they think your service helped them, and then put together a portfolio on the best and most positive reviews and put them somewhere easily noticed on your website! This will really help your conversion rate as well as it will help your website look very professional!

Next tip is to provide some articles and content on you line of work, go to an article directory and find at least three articles on how your service helps out your industry or about how effective the right consulting can be! This will give your visitors something to ponder about while they are considering signing up for your services or not.

Finally, find a good template for your website. I purposely put this tip last because I think it should be done last, because it is sometimes the most difficult and time consuming step. If you use WordPress, go on the WordPress website and look for very professional and good looking themes, for other content management systems you may have to pay for your theme, but search on Google and try to find a good layout for your website. Here are a few quick tips to remember when you are searching:

1. Don’t use really flashy and distracting designs, this will annoy your visitors

2. Don’t use really bright neon colors, again it will annoy your visitors

3. Find something relating to your industry, if you are a money management consultant, find a theme around money

4. Simple is almost always better

Now that you have a fantastic and very smooth website you will need to promote it! So let’s move onto step three.

Step 3: Promote Your Website

Promoting your website is going to be bout Search Engine Optimization (SEO), ironically you may have to outsource this project to a trusted SEO firm. However, I will show you how you can do it yourself! SEO’ing your website is going to be about two things:

1. On-page SEO

2. Off-page SEO

On-page SEO is about setting up Meta tags, title tags, description tags, unique content, and keyword density. So write a few unique articles and I recommend signing up for SEOmoz.com, they will have everything you ever cared to know about SEO’ing your website and more! Yes it is expensive, but highly worth it!

Secondly, off-page SEO is about link building. Getting as many as possible quality back links is your primary goal. This includes article submission, directory submission, blog commenting, and forum posting. Again signing up for SEOmoz.com is your best bet on learning the best possible way to do this.

If you do not have the money to sign up for SEOmoz.com, I understand. There are plenty of resources out there that can help you for free! Just look up each term I stated above on Google like directory submission, on-page SEO, and all the others! After you complete the three steps, you will have a fully functional, fully fantastic, and totally professional consulting website and you are ready to bring in the massive amounts of clients who will be begging to pay you for your brilliant consulting ideals. How To Start A Successful Recipes Website

How to cook, this topic is becoming more and more in demand over the past few years, especially because of the downfall of the USA economy in 2008. People who used to be hard-core going out every night for dinner are now finding their budgets for meals is under strain and they have to cut back! So, where do people turn that have little or no cooking experience? Well hopefully your brand new website! And because this monstrous influx of traffic to your new recipes website leaves you with a bunch of new advertising opportunities, and by that I mean more money for you! Let me show you how:

Step 1: Register a Domain, Get Website Hosting, and a Script.

First, you will want to register a domain name from your favorite domain registrar (Your Domain Registration Company Here), try to find a domain with the keyword “recipes” or even “cooking” in the name! Next, get some reliable website hosting! I suggest HostMonster.com, they have great service, fast servers, great support teams, and almost 100% reliability uptime! Finally, you will need a good and free recipe script! For this, I recommend using the EasySiteNetwork.com recipe script. It gets a bit complicated to install because it uses MySQL databases, however, I can always install the script for you for only $5. Just email me a request!

Step 2: Promote your Website!

After you have installed your script and customized it just the way you like it, it is now time to promote your website! This can get a bit tricky, however using the right steps and methods, it will be a breeze. First you will want to develop back links, try to trade links with some other established cooking websites; this will drive some traffic as well as get you some good quality back links. Next, you will want to advertise on competing websites, I recommend going on Google and searching for a few competitors websites, find what type of ads they use (for Google Adsense, it will say “ads by Google Adsense” at the bottom), then join the ad program they use and advertise on there! This will drive even more traffic to your website and increase your income further, as well as this will hopefully get you a loyal following so when people need recipes for anything they will go to your website (that’s the goal at least). Now, if you are a bit crazy and have some money to spare, I highly recommend doing a press release through prweb.com. This will drive tons of targeted traffic to your website and will hopefully get you a few sponsorship deals, which I will talk about in step three.

Step 3: Make Money with Ads!

Remember how I said that a recipe website has “a bunch of new advertising opportunities”? Well, let me show you what I mean. After you get some good traffic to your website, it’s time to put some new advertisements on your website! I recommend signing up for Tribal Fusion and ADSDAQ. To increase your cash flow by even more is getting sponsorship deals! Talk to some local companies about advertising on your website! Especially someone who makes for example pots and pans for cooking or even some silverware and ladles or anything! And charge them about $100 per month per banner, if you get two or three banners going that will be $200 to $300 a month! This isn’t a significant income, but you can defiantly increase that by adding another banner or two or increase your prices slowly!

Well that’s it, three steps and you will have a great recipe website for the growing cooking demand! Just experiment! Even selling a cookbook on your website can turn out to be a huge success! Just experiment! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you stick around to read some more fantastic articles! Please subscribe to my RSS feed at the top right!
